Services
Dr. Gulino performs surgery and related procedures on the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial regions to treat diseases, injuries, or defects in order to improve function or appearance. As a Board Certifed Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon he removes impacted, damaged, and non-restorable teeth, and treats dental problems as well as diseases of the gum. He also treats infections and removes tumors and other abnormal growths of the oral and facial regions.
Both snoring and sleep apnea are causes of several health issues and are potentially life-threatening. When dealing with Obstructive Sleep Airway (OSA) Dr. Gulino provides a laser treatment using the NightLase® protocol to open the airways to reduce snoring and sleep apnea. A non-invasive treatment, this procedure is safe with no need for anesthesia. Consequently, it produces a good night’s sleep and better quality of life for the patient and their partner. He can also fabricate jaw repositioning appliances, which are customized for each patient.
Our dental implants are a titanium post that is surgically positioned into the jawbone beneath the gum line. This is the anchor that receives the replacement tooth or teeth. An implant doesn’t come loose like a denture can. Dental implants are also a benefit to general oral health because they do not have to compromise neighboring healthy teeth versus anchoring a bridge. If you are considering implants, you must have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant.
Our offices employ the latest technology, using the Fontona Light Walker Laser. This laser treats periodontal disease, snoring and sleep apnea disorders, pathology issues, skin resurfacing and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ). BioStimulation by laser allows for faster healing, increased tissue regeneration, and pain relief. The Fontona dental laser is an ideal tool for it’s ultimate precision, faster, and more effective healing. It’s a unique system capable of offering the power of the industry’s highest performance Er:Yag and Nd:Yag for dual wavelength treatment options. Dr. Dante Gulino, DDS, MD is a Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr. Gulino has been practicing for over 25 years, and holds both a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Doctorate of Medicine Education (MD).
